The Thundering Mantis [T-Shirt]

It was the beginning of a new decade, the 80′s, and director Teddy Yip and action director Robert Tai joined forces to create one of my favorite films of the genre, as well as one of my favs featuring “Beardy”, whose real name of course is Leung Kar Yan. This film also stars Eddy Ko and Cheng Feng, and how can you forget Leung Kar-Yan’s often young sidekick, Wong Yat-Lung. This movie like a lot before it, featured an action packed opening sequence backed by the traditional red background. Actually, the final moments of the film are somewhat questionable, as to what exactly was Leung Kar Yan’s character really doing in that last frame, if you haven’t seen this film yet, you really must check it out.

You get 3 recognizable poses of the star of the film, Leung Kar Yan, as the character in the movie, ‘Ah Chi’. Following the theme of previous designs, there is a tagline for the film, title of the movie in English, and cast and crew info, as well as the 36 Styles logo.
