Submitting A Post Topic

When I request for the aid of the community at large for ‘post topics’, I am not referring to subject matters of which to write about it. I am suggesting for the fans to send in leads to a good article based on something you may have come across or read about that pertains to that of the martial arts film genre, or the actors or actresses that appear in these classic films. Or even something just having to do with martial arts in general, in which you think a fellow Fu fan may enjoy reading about or to be made aware of. I know there are tons of videos online pertaining to the genre, but if you happen to stumble upon something quite unique or something that many others probably have not already seen, please submit it for a post topic. An example might be this animated short titled ‘Way of the Mantis’ , which “is the story of an impetuous Chinese monk who finds he has a thing or two to learn from an unlikely source. The animation is rendered in a brushpainted style reminiscient of old Te Wei films.”
Further exmaples may be:
- Is ‘Beardy’ working on a new Kung Fu movie?
- Has Yuen Woo-ping joined forces with Jackie once again, to make a potentially genre-busting classic film?
- Is David Chiang and Ti Lung teaming up to work on a television series together?
- Is there a new movie distributor planning to begin releasing remastered versions of classic kung fu movies?
- Has someone of the genre recently passed away?
- Are there Kung Fu movie screenings to appear in your area?
- Has an online retailer begun to start selling Kung Fu/Bruce Lee related memorabilia?
- Are the Shaolin monks from Henan province, China on tour again?
From these examples, I hope you get the idea of the kind of post topics I would like to see made for submission, by YOU .. the fellow Fu fan.
Basically, I am trying to do my part in keeping the Fu alive! I can only do so much, there is only so much time in a day. With your help and support, Shaolin Chamber 36 will continue to grow and become a more prominent Kung Fu movie related website that fans globally can enjoy.
