Old School Interview thread

Postby AlexanderFu » Sat Jan 05, 2013 8:57 am

I saw this Philip Ko interview Which I want to post here.
I never seen it before but I bet a few have.

He gets a little shot in at Dick Wei for a cheapshot while filming. :rockon
(or maybe it is the other guy later in the interview - Mark Houghton?)
He says Fu Sheng was 'Genius, so clever' 'Could remember 100's of moves' - nice praise for him.
David Chiang 'Was good with the Swordplay'

He also kind of dismisses Lo Lieh as 'knowing no Martial arts', or something to that effect.

Praises Bruce Lee, etc....

I have to listen again.

Let me know what you think of this interview and post any others in here.
Some are over at Kung Fu Cinema, a few recent threads in their Shaw forum, but I didn't see this one.

I hope we can pool some nice interviews here.

:party ...It's still the new year. The party has not quite ended yet. :music

:time

:rockon :thumbsup goodbye!

Thanks for posting the clip. Even if I had already seen it before, I most certainly forgot it. :smile

Dismissing Lo Lieh?!?!? Lo Lieh played one of the greatest villains in kung fu cinema history with his portrayal as Pai Mei. Which to me equals legendary status! :clappinghands
