Evil Dead (2013)

When I first read about there being a Evil Dead remake, I was like "WHYYYYY", then when I also read the lead character will be played by a woman, meaning no "Ash" character, I didn't understand. But now after seeing the recently released Red Band trailer for the film, I SO want to go see it.

The trailer features no comedic elements to it, but in fact looks pretty damn scary. I do in fact want to see this film now, and can't wait to do so.

Fans of the original Evil Dead trilogy, what do you think of the remake, will you go see it?

I will see it (of course)...but IMO it looks like a run of the mill modern "horror", no "heart" of the original classics.

OH WOW!!

The new Red Band trailer for Evil Dead, makes it actually looks so much better than the original, at least more scary, gory, and creepy. I really can not wait to see this.
