Shaw Nuff: A Shaw Brothers Retrospective

Assuming we all make it past the dreaded “12/21/12″, predicted doomsday event, and you live in or anywhere near LA, California, then you may want to start the new year off with a month full of Shaw Brothers films shown in true 35mm glory! Beginning on January 1, 2013 and closing out on January 29, 2013, you will be able to catch the following movies as well as some “Shaw Surprises” for a bonus second feature, on select screenings:

1/1/13 – The One Armed Swordsman – 5 PM (+ mystery Shaw Bros film)

1/5/13 – Seeding of a Ghost – 10 PM 

1/8/13 – The Magic Blade – 7:30 PM (+ mystery Shaw Bros film)

1/12/13 – Twinkle Twinkle Little Star – Midnite

1/15/13 – 8 Diagram Pole Fighter – 7:30 PM (+ mystery Shaw Bros film)

1/19/13 – Human Lanterns – 11 PM

1/22/13 – Holy Flame of the Martial World – 7:30 PM (+ mystery Shaw Bros film)

1/26/13 – The Boxer’s Omen – 10 PM (+ mystery Shaw Bros film)

1/29/13 – Five Deadly Venoms – 7:30 PM (+ mystery Shaw Bros film)

These screenings are brought to you courtesy of The CineFamily. Price of tickets for each night, $12 or free for members.
