Age of Wushu Brings Jianghu to Your Browser

The new MMORPG Age of Wushu (Age of Wulin in the UK) is giving gamers a chance to be part of a huge, multi-faceted landscape based on classic wuxia themes. Free to play (although you may choose to buy up to an Elite account and participate in Beta tests later this year for about $10), Age of Wushu allows players to create a fighter from one of the Eight Major Schools (which include Shaolin, Wudang, Emei, Beggar Sect and more). The fighting system has been designed to recreate the type of action seen in your favorite high flying wuxia films (no wires required). Designed by Snail Games of China, Age of Wushu is now running previews of artwork, action and readable guides to the Eight Major Schools and the Jianghu (“lakes and rivers,” a term from wuxia novels that means the world of martial artists as opposed to the world of normal people) of Age of Wushu.

You can visit Age of Wushu today at www.ageofwushu.com to create an account, check out the background information and media or purchase an Elite account.
