dddhouse had a good deal on this so I couldn’t resist.  Currently have the old R1 DVD (with Chan’s enjoyable audio commentary), so this uncut BD will be a great upgrade.

Don`t exactly like price of Mario Bave film, 33€  but those Shaw brs were so cheap so good price for total even as not originally planned to get "kid with golden arm", tokyo shoch dvd is great. And have 2 mediabooks of Chinatown already but had to find 5th movie so I guess one mediabook will go for a friend as trade...

Still have the VHS of this somewhere at my parents house, doubt it willever make it to Blu-Ray. Really gripping made for T.V crime film, which I remember watching on its original premeire on U.K, T.V. Back in the late 1990's. Now I've just purchased it on DVD, there will surely be an HD release announced soon.

Do The Moon Warriors and Full Contact look good on blu ray? I have the old dvd of The Moon Warriors and that ending fight alone (for the weirdness of course) makes me want to grab a blu ray copy. Arriving this weekend for me is Keiho, Fight Back To School 3 and Casino Raiders, all on dvd. I've heard only good things about Fight Back To School 3, so it gives me hope after seeing the first 2.

Full Contact isn't much of an improvement over the DVD, to be honest...Probably only worth forking out for if you can get it fairly cheap.
Moon Warriors fares much better though. Here's a few screencaps, so you can judge for yourself...

Does anyone know where to find the unrated version of the first Laid to Rest for cheap? Can't find it for love nor money.

Speaking of Paranormal Activity, I scored a free copy of PA2 because it was a British release without any French audio or subs (not sure how it ended in a French video store, but hey, the considerate owner offered it to me), eventually bought PA3 and Ghost Dimension because I had heard PA3 was actually pretty good, and a review of PA:GH got me morbidly curious (plus, they were the only other PA films I could find at the time :laugh ).

I genuinely enjoy the first four movies and find them legitimately scary (the first PA movie was a hoot in the cinema). But Ghost Dimension is a poor end to the franchise. It tries to do too much and sacrifices solid horrid for attempting to tie up loose ends.
