The British scene was really on fire not so long ago, now you just seem to hear about promotions folding. The first casuality of the global wrestling war between the top promotions. Fired by WWE's desired to buy up and consume everything in Wrestling. They also bought up so much of the top talent over here, for their NXT U.K project. World of Sport failed to get a full time T.V gig, despite great ratings. The promotionwas  last rumoured to have a possible link with AEW, in terms of making a comeback. There's also a lot of talent that'smoved across the pond to America.

This said, there's more Pro-Wrestling available to fans now, than there has been in a long time. There's so many alternatives now, you don't have to endure what one promotion has to offer. The whole scene has undergone some big major changes throughout 2019, both good and bad. Will 2020 be just as eventful?.

Jim Cornette has resigned from the NWA after making a racist remark during the match between Nick Aldis and Trevor Murdoch on last week's episode of NWA Powerrr.

The ROH self destruction continued this week. It announced this week that it won't renew the contract of WOH champion Kelly Klein due to a breach of contract after she helped Joey Mercury blow the whistle on the company's unethical practices.  Newsweek released an article on the whole fiasco today with some additional stories.

https://www.newsweek.com/ring-honor-kelly-klein-concussion-medical-policy-management-1473223

It's not over yet as someone leaked management's conversation about NJPW's Hikuleo, who was on the recent ROH UK tour.

It remains to be seen if Marty Scurll will renew with ROH and what happens to PCO and Brody King if he doesn't. Yet even with all of this, Flamita signed a one-year deal with it.

ACH (formerly Jordan Myles) was granted his release from WWE when a dispute over a T-shirt design went viral after he posted a rant and then did a live Q&A.  WWE said ACH had approved the design and ACH admitted that he did but on a different colored shirt. He then announced three appearances on the indie circuit.

Oney Lorcan has requested his release from WWE but has not been granted it.

John Hennigan is returning to WWE. He signed last week and is now at the WWEPC in Orlando. He will return to using the moniker John Morrison.

Hennigan with WOO! WOO! WOO! Zack Ryder

WWE TLC Results:

  • The New Day defeated The Revival in a Ladder Match to retain the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.
  • King Corbin defeated Roman Reigns
  • Aleister Black quickly wiped out Buddy Murphy
  • Bray Wyatt defeated The Miz but got a post-match attack from a returning Daniel Bryan, who is sporting his ROH look as The American Dragon, short hair and goatee as opposed to the long hair and beard.
  • Bobby Lashley defeated Rusev in a tables match.
  • The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) retained the Women's Tag Team Titles against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in a TLC match.
  • The OC answered the Viking Raiders' open challenge and fought to a double count-out. After the match, Karl Anderson was put through a KFC table.

Sin Cara is in potentially hot water with WWE. After his release, he was supposed to be on a 90-day non-compete clause. However, he showed up at AAA's Guerra de Titanes using the Sin Cara name. WWE never gave permission and they have the trademark kept for US and Mexico until 2021.

Daniel Bryan's new look

Primo Colon has been suspended 30 days for his 2nd violation against the WWE Wellness Policy. However, he is disputing it as he claims to be in Puerto Rico and had contacted WWE about finding a local place to have him tested. He never heard back and was given the suspension.

Its been said that the veterans Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch did not spot that their opponent Kairi Sane was consut?. Which is said to have had a huge impact on the over-all match?. I cant comment personnally, as I rarely watch WWE. However, it appears that Kairi Sane suffered a head injury, when she was speared into a guard rail?. Hitting her head hard on the un-protected concrete floor?.

WWE star Kairi Sane was left with a suspected concussion after a savage TLC match on Sunday night.

Dragon Gate star Masato Yoshino will retire next year due to a lingering neck injury sustained in 2017.

Stardom's Kagetsu is retiring and her last show will be a self-produced one on February 24th.

Stardom also announced that it will have a match on the first night of Wrestle Kingdom 14.

Australian star Slex has signed with ROH.

Rush has reformed his Los Ingobernables faction as La Facción Ingobernable in AAA and ROH. In AAA, his partners are Konnan, LA Park, Killer Kross and La Bestia del Ring. In ROH, it is Kenny King, Amy Rose and for the first time, his brother Dragon Lee.

Dragon Lee called ROH "his new home" on Twitter when the company congratulated him on getting married. It's interesting that he is allowed to use "Dragon Lee" in the US but not in Japan as CMLL owns the name in Mexico and may have asked NJPW to book him under a different name.

TK O'Ryan gave a speech about possibly having to retire due to a head injury.
