Yes, David Finlay is the eldest son of Fit Finlay. He is now fully recovered and will return to the ring at the NJPW/ROH Honor Rising shows.

There were no title changes at NJPW's New Beginning in Sapporo. New Beginning in Osaka had one of the most insane matches of the year so far. Hiromu Takahashi retained the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight title against Dragon Lee. Everyone watching it was left wondering how both of them were still breathing afterwards.

Brock Lesnar has retired from the UFC. He made the announcement and as a result, his suspension from the USADA has been frozen. If he returns to MMA, his suspension will be reinstated for the next five months. His suspension was to have ended on July 15. He still is continuing with WWE and will take on Goldberg in April at WrestleMania.

And Emmalina finally showed up....but she dropped a bombshell.

It looks like the entire 17-week hype has gone to waste. They are nixing the Emmalina riff because apparently they felt Emma wasn't committing enough to the idea. At this point, it is unclear what they are actually going to do with her. I liked the dancing Emma with Santino Marella and her eventual heel turn on NXT. I wish they would do something right with her.

Thanks HyperDrive, his Dad was involved with the recent WWE U.K tournament behind the scenes. It's a shame he didn't appear on the World Of Sport 2016 Special, as he made his name on U.K T.V back in the 80's.

You're welcome. It's too bad his WWE contract probably prohibited any collaboration with WOS.

Some say Emma pulled "a Lana" because she wanted to be evil Emma on the main roster. To me, that seems unlikely as anyone wouldn't waste that much hype.

In injury news.... Lance Archer (Lance Hoyt on the US indie circuit), one half of NJPW's Killer Elite Squad, is out with a herniated disc that will require surgery. Lucha Underground's Son of Havoc revealed that he broke his leg doing a moonsault at a January show in Seattle. He also confirmed that he walked to the hospital.

El Zorro left AAA. They're in a race with ROH to lose the most talent the fastest. Also, Impact Wrestling announced partnerships with Pro Wrestling NOAH and Crash!. Crash! already got them in trouble as the booker, Konnan, used Lucha Underground referee Marty Elias for a taped match between the Hardys and Psicosis/Super Crazy. LU responded with a cease and desist letter to Impact so the match is going to be televised with Elias blurred out. lol

That will have been the reason HyperDrive. The wrestlers WWE choose for the tournament, may not have been under contracts, yet they still couldn't appear on the WOS special.

Sad to hear about the death of George The Animal Steel, one of wrestlings genuine characters. While I was a bit too young to see him at his peak, I remember watching his fued with Randy Savage on video as a kid.

What a bad week for wrestling. The man who stopped the unstoppable, former WWWF champion "The Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff died at the age of 74 today.

Sad to hear about yet another wrestlers death, remember Koloffs pairing with Nikita Koloff in the NWA?.

I don't remember the Koloff tag team since I was about 4 when they last teamed up. Did you know that Nikita Koloff is now a preacher and can be seen on the Lifetime show Preachers' Daughters?

Monday Night Raw had some controversy. The Rock was cutting a promo and during an untelevised segment, called CM Punk. Apparently Vince exploded after this.

Zack Sabre Jr. will make his NJPW debut challenging Katsuyori Shibata for the RevPro British Heavyweight Championship at the 45th anniversary show.

I know right, he's done some real crazy things and bares the scars. Other careers have ended on what you would have assumed to be less dangerous.

Your right, I found this video on YouTube about a jobber who had his career ended really early.

This is how Hayabusa's ended at about 12:20:

It this kind of thing, that people don't consider when they mock it as a form of entertainment. They go out on a regular basis and risk their necks, just to perform to people on T.V or in Arenas on none televised shows.
