I wasnt sure if Triple H had got out his deep pockets and offered them a job, posted the WrestleTalk video earlier today.

Just totally saw that (the video posting earlier)! LOL....well, at least we got a bit of an update on their new project LOL. I wonder if they will still do the wrestling gig with their new business.

It looks like Paige's return is truly happening as she got the clearance by WWE doctors. As she prepares for her return in the ring by training at the WWEPC, the creative team are coming up with a storyline that will bring her to SmackDown, where she plans to get "her house" back.

There is a controversy involving Jinder Mahal and his recent in-ring promos, in which he mocks his upcoming opponent Shinsuke Nakamura. Obviously if you haven't seen it, Mahal mocks Nakamura's look but went to far with Nakamura's accent. WWE made a statement revolving around this:
“Just like many other TV shows or movies, WWE creates programming with fictional personalities that incorporates real world issues and sensitive subjects. As a producer of such TV shows, WWE Corporate is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.”

Sasha Banks recently talked about how Triple H actually asked for her husband for a tryout for the company, in which he ultimately got the job. No, Sasha's husband Sarath "Mikaze" Ton, is not a wrestler, but actually a seamstress (or seamster?) or the company. Yes, in other words, he actually helps make the superstars' ring costumes.

Reminded me of this:

-----

ROH Death Before Dishonor

Bully Ray & the Briscoes retained the ROH Trios titles against The Kingdom

Marty Scurll pinned Chuck Taylor

Punishment Martinez beat Jay White in a Las Vegas Street Fight

Hangman Page and the Young Bucks won the ROH Trios titles from Bully Ray & Briscoes. Jay Briscoe turned heel by bashing Bully Ray with a table and letting Hangman Page get the pin.

Kenny King won his first single title defeating Kushida for the ROH Television title

Silas Young beat Jay Lethal in a last man standing match

The Motor City Machine Guns won the ROH tag titles from the Young Bucks.

Cody Rhodes retained the ROH World Championship against Minoru Suzuki in a match that many say had to be cut short due to time restraints

-----

FloSports is suing WWN, the parent company of EVOLVE, for $1,000,000. The lawsuit states that WWN presented fake data on the buyrates for its iPPVs and VOD services when negotiating a deal to appear on the FloSlam online service. EVOLVE might be heading to a WWE tiered network as Cedric Alexander has been sent to work its shows.

-----

Former WCW star Lodi has announced his retirement from the ring after a third neck surgery.

Jeff Hardy is reportedly out with a shoulder injury and may require surgery.

-----

Everyone in CMLL is confirmed safe after the earthquake there. NJPW announced it will hold a donation drive at its live shows starting with Sunday's Destruction in Kobe.

AAA will also hold a fundraiser by streaming its shows on Twitch.

Global Force Wrestling's name is being phased out of Impact Wrestling, especially now that GFW owner Jeff Jarrett is on an indefinite leave from the company. So the promotion will stick strictly to Impact Wrestling. Impact's owner, Anthem, is based in Toronto is looking to make it a strictly Canadian company partly due to the fact that the promotion is still feeling effects of when it was called TNA Wrestling, which originated in Orlando; but as well as have some economical advantages if based in Canada.

At Friday's Big Time Wrestling live event, Terry Funk came out of retirement to join forces with the Rock n Roll Express to face Jerry Lawler, Brian Christopher, and Doug Gilbert.

JBL is in India working with at-risk kids at the Magic Bus and Slum Soccer organizations, which help promote better life skills through soccer and education. As everyone knows, JBL left SmackDown to focus on his philanthropy with helping these kids. However, he will return for the upcoming Tribute to the Troops event in December.

Rob Van Dam was asked about a possible return to WWE:
“I’ve talked to WWE recently, but it’s about the new video games that are coming out. That was more of a business talk about that, but when the business is right and it’s the right time to go back, that, of course, is then always a possibility.”

Both KUSHIDA and Shinsuke Nakamura would love to face Daniel Bryan in a match. Bryan did mention when asked if he could face one WWE/NXT superstar in the ring if he were to be able to return, he did say Nakamura, who responded "Sometime, someday". As for KUSHIDA, he admits he was a big fan of Bryan when he was the American Dragon and said he and Bryan would have a good match where they would focus on each other.

It's about time this promotion had some better luck.

The Rock N Roll express must be the longest running pro-wrestling Tag Team around?.

Terry Funk never going to retire, he is a real life Iron Man.

Interesting news involving a possible return for former WWE Divas champion Celeste Bonin, who WWE will know as Kaitlyn. For the first time in 4 years, she is making her return to the ring as she is training at the Main Event Training Center in Florida for Coastal Championship Wrestling.

As Paige continues to prepare for her return to WWE, she praised Nia Jax on Twitter.

Adam Cole finally made his NXT in-ring debut against Eric Young last night. It has been confirmed that his stable is called The Undisputed Era

Matt Jackson was doing a Reddit Q&A where he confessed he had been bugging CM Punk for the past two years to join BULLET CLUB.

UK wrestling veteran Johnny Moss is moving to Orlando, Florida as he will become a full-time coach at the WWE Performance Center.
“This is a lifelong dream fulfilled. I’ve been obsessed with wrestling since I was eight – it’s all I ever wanted to do – and to be offered this job with WWE is beyond anything I could ever have hoped for.”
He will be reporting to Triple H, William Regal, and Shawn Michaels and will be both training the talents and working with his trainees at house shows.

WWE will be hosting their own Live Starrcade on November 25th at the Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina. This will be treated more than a house show and will not be televised. One match that has been confirmed is a tag team match between The Rock n Roll Express against Gallows and Anderson.

Charlotte Flair was on ESPN's 30 for 30 and is hoping that WWE and Ronda Rousey will agree to terms where Flair will take on Rousey in a match...perhaps this is one for WrestleMania?

There's nothing wrong with her shape, she got a very natural strong looking physique. Most of the WWE female wrestlers have a generic look in terms of their body shape etc.

Saw bullet club invade raw? They've been mad because WWE had sent em a suck it and DX chop cease and desist. Lmao WWE copyrighted too sweet and the wolf pack too sweet salute right after they came to raw. Nash told me years ago Wade Boggs started it with Curt Henning and Rick Rude. Him and Hall were so close they were included in it and it ran from there. Being able to copyright stuff like that and enforcing it on people is stupid. They've already pulled all merchandise containing both

I saw an interview with Dave Bautista talking about how WWE had him change his name to Batista only to learn that WWE had intended to trademark that particular name when he thought it would be because it was easier to say than his real name. Kinda (censored) up and speaking of WWE...

How can WWE trademark the "Too Sweet" when it is just the "Rock On" gesture popularized by Dio in the 80's renamed?

AR Fox (Lucha Underground's Dante Fox) was recently profiled by ESPN. He studied Bruce Lee for some moves.

http://www.espn.com/wwe/story/_/id/20834864/lucha-underground-ar-fox-lives-hollywood-dream-come-true-temple

Quote

While his peers latched on to core sports during their youth, like basketball and football, Fox preferred doing backflips off his back porch, scaling walls and doing handstands up and down the hallways of his high school. Instead of watching traditional TV shows, Fox studied Bruce Lee VHS tapes with his father, hoping to one day be able to move with the grace and precision of the man he saw on the screen. He eventually put whatever he learned from those tapes, and flipping around the house, and channeled that all into a backyard wrestling career.

LU executive producer Eric Van Wagenen has recently stated that he is confident a season four will be produced once a budget has been decided on and all the talent is assembled together again. When asked about Sexy Star's future participation, he stated that the final decision is in the hands of AAA and Dorian Roldan.

-----

The era of Billy Corgan has begun for the NWA. He has announced a 20-year plan and compared his time at TNA/Impact to the show Game of Thrones.

https://www.si.com/wrestling/2017/10/02/billy-corgan-officially-announces-rebrand-nwa

Also, NWA champion Tim Storm appeared at a taping of Championship Wrestling Hollywood. This is the first time a NWA talent appeared there in five years. CWH left the NWA after Bruce Tharpe took over in 2012. Note Corgan's business partner Dave Lagana used to run CWH with Dave Marquez until being hired by TNA.

-----

NJPW announced the 11th Young Lions' Cup. The competitors are:

Hirai Kawato

Tomoyuki Oka

Katsuya Kitamura

Shota Umino

Tetsuhiro Yagi

Ren Narita

Most people expect Kawato to win as he is the most experienced but he is a cruiserweight while Oka and Kitamura are heavyweights. In Japan, cruiserweights almost never pin heavyweights so it will be interesting to watch.

Dragon Gate star Takehiro Yamamura suffered a spinal concussion while doing a springboard missile dropkick. He was released from the hospital today.

Takayamania, the fundraiser for Yoshihiro Takayama, has raised about $11,000 so far.

Brock Lesnar's contract with WWE will end after Wrestlemania XXXIV

Daniel Bryan's contract with WWE ends in September 2018.

The Big Show's contact with WWE ends in February 2018. He has mentioned that he is contemplating retirement on a few occasions.

Paige (who will be returning soon) and Mauro Ranallo's contacts with WWE end in 2019.

On December 4, WCPW will officially be re-branded as Defiant Wrestling. As mentioned in my last post, Stu Bennett is the promotion's General Manager, but he has begun his duties to begin the change.

Last night, Bray Wyatt warned Finn Balor that Sister Abigail is coming...it is now been speculated via a Twitter post that NXT star Sage Beckett will be joining the main roster as Sister Abigail!
