Thanks for the heads up, this is the only title I missed when FilmFour had their Shaw Brothers Season last year.

Bruce lee tv series..chinese production.

2 eps every day since monday..11pm and 5pm on Showcase channel. Sky channel: 212.

Thanks for the heads up on this, I would never have known it was on. This is the Legend of Bruce Lee tv series from 2008, I've seen the dvd that was basically the fight scenes edited in to about a 2hr 30mins movie and that was ok but i've never seen any of the full episodes. From what I recall at the time the series wasn't well received and actually worked better as an action heavy edited film but i'm going to try and watch a few episodes just to see if I can get into it. It's funny because when it first aired I wondered if it would ever come to UK tv and here it is...... just 10 years later!

For what it's worth they actually went out of their way to wove the Bruce vs. Thai boxer brawl (from when BB was still being made) into the show.

Martial Arts Movies on Film4 in late March:

THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS is to be shown in the early hours of Thursday, 29th March at 01:55-03:45.

ONE-ARMED SWORDSMAN is to be shown in the early hours of Saturday, 31st March at 01:00-03:20.

Sadly I'm late mentioning it but; THE 36TH CHAMBER OF SHAOLIN was shown on Film4 in the early hours of this morning at 01:20-03:35.

It's good to see that Shaw's are getting on broadcast TV. Even if there the same ones and in the typical hours that subtitled movies are shown ('hidden' in the early hours).

I've watched Assination Games, but it was forgettable, as I just dont recall much about it. Yet to see Zero Tolerance, so I'm unable to comment on that one. Moives For Men used to screen some bashers, such as Kung Fu The Invisible Fist, but they havent done so for well over a decade now. They do show a lot of independent cinema, including quite a few Martial Arts flciks. I'll try and keep an eye out for what they screen in the future.
