First one is some of my HK movie collection.... the rest is in stacks elsewhere... im rearranging.

You can see some stacks of dvds under my ABT poster....

The Killer US/UK? poster

Reppin' Shaolin in the living room....

And some of the JC posters.... had to weigh them down with remote controls and stuff....

I have more stuff, it's just less accessible right now....

Wow. To my everlasting regret I never really collected posters. :-( You got a very impressive collection there. I been into hk movies for 16 years its about time I started collecting posters.

Thanks, been collecting movie posters for a while now (someday I may even get a house big enough to hang them in) it's a slow process due to the costs though.

Working my way through the JC posters starting with the 90's and going backwards. Got Drunken Master 2 and Armour Of God 2 posters on the way. Then I just need Thunderbolt, Mr. Niceguy and First Strike (which I already have the UK poster for, but I want the HK one) skipping Island Of Fire and Gorgeous, and it's on to the 80's!

Funny- just a couple of weeks ago Monk Sante and I were discussing starting a thread like this. You beat us to it. Awesome!

A few HKL's, need a bigger shelf for these!

Not HK, but this is my (unfinished) Jeeja corner:

I love the way the HKL's DVDs look all together on that shelf. Very nice! Am I the only person that alphabetizes my DVDs though? Just curious.

The Jeeja corner is great.

That's a sweet piece man!

And some of the JC posters....

Wow! So many sweet JC posters. I especially like the RUMBLE IN THE BRONX one. The poster for THE KILLER is the US one I believe. I have that too. I really dig the painted images on it. Also- love the ABT poster bro.

Here's some of the stuff in my collection...

Here's a super rare ONE-ARMED SWORDSMAN figure.

An extremely talented artist I met on FaceBook created a small quantity of these amazing Gyonsi "Hopping Vampire" dolls. She created every element from scratch. It's even more stunning in person where you can truly appreciate all of the details she put into it.

Enterbay's LEGEND OF THE FIST: RETURN OF CHEN ZHEN figure has a striking sculpt of Donnie Yen.

EnterbayLEGENDOFTHEFISTfigurearrives4-17-12002.jpg

The Enterbay GAME OF DEATH figure hanging out with FAMILY GUY's Brian (yes- he talks!) on my computer desk. This photo was taken shortly before that Norton security went into the trash!

EBGAMEOFDEATHfigurewBrian.jpg

Enterbay's ENTER THE DRAGON "B" style figure in a backdrop from Hot Toys. The backdrop is reversible, with the Han's "museum" painting on one side and the mirrors on the other. Yes, the middle section spins just like in the film.

Bandai figures of Godzilla (the 1977 version) and the Smog Monster prepare to battle near a "nuclear powerplant". :xd: Tosh recommended that I put a nuclear symbol on the air freshener.

This killer Chinese warrior SPAWN figure was a gift from my son.

Though it was advertised as something else, this is clearly a figure of Chow Yun-Fat from HARD-BOILED (a gift from Kowloon).

A Chinese dragon puppet that I just had to have.

ChineseDragonPuppet016.jpg

One of my most prized pieces- Hwang Jang-Lee signed a poster of my artwork for me! The photo shows HwangJang-Lee and Jon-James Hodson (director of the documentary THE ANONYMOUS KING: IN SEARCH OF HWANG JANG-LEE) posing with my art in Dongdaemun central Seoul, Oct 2011. It now hangs next to my work desk.

Marvel's kick ass BLADE 2 figure.

Figures from the seriously cool animated series AFRO SAMURAI. Afro Samurai himself...

...and the freaky Akuma (who's standing in front of my "Zatoichi" sword)..

A nunchaku signed by Hong Kong Stuntman's Association Vice President/actor/action choreographer Tony Leung Siu-Hung and veteran actor stuntman Philip Yiu.

The amazing Gordon Liu signed a copy of my art for me and was very happy to get a copy for himself as a gift.

At the 2011 New York Asian Film Festival I got to see GALLANTS and meet HK star Bruce Leung. Bruce was very cool, and after his initial shock that some white dude owned a 32 year old poster of one of his films, was kind enough to autograph it for me.

Geez, I guess that's enough for now. Didn't mean to hog the thread!

A veritable treasure trove there, Bob! Think im sportin' a semi......

Damn, a Leung Siu Hung signed nunchaku.... my second fave AC after Sammo. I know you met him, did he speak any english?

:xd: Glad you, um... "like" the stuff. LOL

Tony speaks pretty good English. We're able to have fairly easy conversations. Though occasionally we do each wind up saying to the other "Huh? What do you mean?"

Meeting and working with Tony and the other guys was one of the coolest things I ever got to do. He showed me a move with the chucks that I'd never seen before. Very exciting! I immediately added it to my repertoire.

The other signee- Phillip Yiu- is someone that most everyone on this forum has seen playing bit parts in about a hundred HK films. He's been in Shaw Brothers films, he's in one of the ANGEL movies (part 2 I think), and stunt doubled for Chow Yun-Fat on a couple of John Woo movies. For those that want to read about my experience, you can check it out here: http://www.kungfucinema.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5971&highlight=crazy+fists

Thanks man. Well, I've been collecting for a long time- about 25 or 26 years I guess. :nerd:

Love this thread. Can't wait to see what other goodies we'll be seeing here from forum members.

Hey, Bob... been eyeing that Eastern Condors thai poster for a while on eBay, but seeing it framed and hanging in your pic did the trick. Just ordered it. I prefer original HK posters if possible, but the HK poster for EC is kinda boring compared to the thai one.

More people post pics of your goods please..... this is pure geek porn:bigsmile:

I agree completely. This is a beautiful poster. Here's a closer look at it (until yours arrives).

Spanish SHAOLIN VS WU TANG poster.

You know you are a Sonny Chiba fan when you have a poster of him walking his pet pig! Here's the Japanese theatrical poster for DOBERMAN COP.

MYARTWORK1143.jpg

A HK theatrical poster featuring the great Ti Lung- SHAOLIN PRINCE. This has beautiful metallic gold print around the logo.

ShawBrothersSHAOLINPRINCEposter.jpg

Here are two of my favorite HK theatrical posters (and movies)- SHAOLIN MANTIS...

SHAOLINMANTIS-HKposter.jpg

...and HEROES OF THE EAST.

HEROESOFTHEEAST-HKposter.jpg

An unusual "landscape" style US LADY KUNG FU (aka. HAPKIDO) poster. Strangely, it's printed on cardboard.

HAPKIDO-USposter.jpg

Love this bold Thai poster for FIST OF LEGEND. I changed the frame and matting though.

FISTOFLEGEND-Thaiposter.jpg

Hardcore collectors will be devastated at my modification of this video store standee for RAPID FIRE. After years of having this huge thing in my apartment, I finally just kept the figure (which is a little bigger than life-size) and the logo. But when Brandon died I cut up the logo piece to create the R.I.P. lettering.

CopyofRAPIDFIREstandeepic2.jpg

FIST OF THE WHITE LOTUS (aka. CLAN OF THE WHITE LOTUS) HK poster.

CLANOFTHEWHITELOTUS-HKposter.jpg

HK theatrical poster for CAT VS RAT.

CATVSRAT-HKposter.jpg

HK theatrical poster for AVENGING EAGLE.

AVENGINGEAGLE-HKposter.jpg

Here's the US theatrical poster for BRONSON LEE, CHAMPION (a gift from my bro Karlos). Notice they put SISTER STREETFIGHTER Etsuko "Sue" Shihomi on the poster? She's not in the film. Love this poster though. It's got crazy Yamashita-san with the nunchaku, two guys getting hammer fists to their family jewels, and a killer tag line.

42onJuly4th2011015.jpg

One of the coolest figures ever made- an 18" talking Brandon Lee figure as THE CROW. He's on a shelf with various nasty killers and a nice dragon statue that my Dad won in a power-lifting competition. He knew I'd like it so he passed it on to me.

This18inchtalkingTheCrowfigureisoneofmyfavorites.jpg

I had a feeling when I saw the tiny, blurry photo on the eBay auction that this figure of Tony Jaa as his character from TOM YUM GOONG (aka. THE PROTECTOR) was going to suck... but I bought it anyway. It's pretty weak. It only has three points of articulation! But still...

TonyJaaTOMYUMGOONGfigure.jpg

Hiding in the darkness behind a miniature Terracotta Warrior statue is the "Wild Man" from BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA. My sister got this for me as a Christmas present. She always gives perfect gifts!

More good stuff, Bob! Don't think that Jaa figure is too bad, certainly a novel item.

And btw, yes... you are the only one (that I know of) who puts his movies in alphabetical order:bigsmile:

I divide them into countries, decades, genres, myself.

Here are my Hong Kong vcd's - courtesy of Chinatown Manchester(uk).

My almost complete stephen chow sing chi collection mainly on vcd courtesy of Chinatown Manchester - i have some others that have ended up in cd wallets due to limited space in my house

picture.php?albumid=249&pictureid=5853

My Johnny To collection mostly on vcd - I also have heroic trio 2 and barefoot kid on vhs.

picture.php?albumid=249&pictureid=5854

some obscure movies on vcd - i don't believe any of these ever got released in the west. I could be wrong.

picture.php?albumid=249&pictureid=5855

The rest of my vcd collection courtesy of Chinatown Manchester. There were/are 3 shops in Manchester chinatown(uk) that import the latest vcd releases from Hong Kong so i was able to snap up movies like S.P.L., infernal affairs trilogy, shinjuku incident, warlords, seven swords, new police story..............and others long before they were released in the west. I was the only Gwailo i ever new that used to shop there for HK movies. I have also some hong kong dvd's i got from chinatown, will upload pic in due course. Sigh - I now live down south and the nearest chinatown is London, I looked all over and couldn't find hk movies for sale anywhere in chinatown London :tinysmile_angry2_t:
