  1. I live in Canada and here...... there is no love for kung fu movies. All these old school kung fu never played in theaters back in the 70s or 80s. They were not available to buy in stores or to rent in videostores. I never seen any playing on tv....... even the Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan ones. I think the first one I saw was Rumble in the Bronx back in 1995. It was the third time a Jackie Chan movie played on theater in canada. First one was Twin Dragons in 1992 and Legend of Drunken Master in 1994. Thanks god for the Internet ! I discovered many awesome movies.

    SHAWS on itunes

$15 + taxes for a semi-hd meg4 that you can only watch on apple device ? Just ridiculous....... thanks god for ADC.
  3. Thanks for those great project ! just one minor thing: "All I have left to do is re-encode the video and mux it with the subs and audio tracks" Why do you re-encode the video? no matter what program you use.... it will always result in a worse-looking video than before just my 2 cents.
  4. ^^ does this version look better than the previous german dvd released in 2008 ? it has english audio which is a big plus.

    18 fatal strikes dvd ???

I have the german dvd of this movie released by slpendid but it's not English friendly.... someday I will try adding the end dub to it. it's an excellent widescreen looking print

7 Steps of Kung Fu (1979)

maybe this "remastered" version is actually a bootleg of the 35mm copy on ADC the 35mm version dvd is superior to the vengeance video dvd.
  7. ^ I watched this one for free and still wanted a refund...... it's pretty bad. unfortunately I was born in '81 so I never saw any of the classic kung fu movies on the big screen.
  8. I wonder if a widescreen print of Shaolin vs Wu Tang will be shown.... a 35mm version
  9. I have the french dvd and the pagoda dvd. the pagoda is sourced from a 35mm print and the picture quality is really good. the french is sourced from a vhs and it's pretty average.

    Great Impersonators 12 movie set

I'm not a big fan of those Brucesploitation movies, most of them are pretty boring I prefer the Drunken Mastersploitation Kung fu movies
  13. Yes and it's not even listed on hkcinemagic, there's another movie called Le Sang du Dragon with Jimmy Wang Yu from 1971 but it's not the same movie.
