Thanks for the references guys, you have both reminded me what a great community this is. Wish I had four more copies of Tiger Killer!

I've replied to you both. Some have apparently PMed me twice where I haven't got the first message, so if I haven't replied to anyone, send another PM or reply in this thread. Oh, I should also mention that I'm in Europe in the land of expensive postage, but don't hesitate to contact me anyway. Not looking to make a huge profit.

  7. Hi everyone, I used to be an avid kung fu fan and posted here some years ago. These days all my DVDs are just sitting in boxes as I simply do not have time to watch them. I've posted them on a local craigslist-like site without a list or a very specific description of the contents, and have received a few bulk offers for like $3ish per movie. I was hoping you could update me a bit as I do not know if any of the releases are rare and/or worth a bit more, and should therefore be sold separately. So... what's hot these days? I could check in later with some more details about the stuff, but most of it is from the remastered Shaw library. I don't remember the distributors, but I attached a picture of some examples. I also have lot of HKL releases.. are these out of print now? Also some from Dragon dynasty, as far as I can remember Any information would be appreciated. Regards. Edit: Here are the HKL titles I have (roughly by memory) Armour of God City Hunter Dragon Lord Dragons Forever Drunken Master Duel to the Death Encounters of the Spooky Kind Hapkido In the Line of Duty Iron Fisted Monk Iron Monkey King of Beggars Last Hurrah for Chivalry Legend of a Fighter Magnificent Butcher Millionaire's Express Miracles Mr. Vampire Moon Warriors My Lucky Stars New Dragon Gate Inn Ninja in the Dragon's Den The Odd Couple Once Upon a Time in China box set Police Story Police Story 2 The Prodigal Son Project A The Protector The Scorpion King Skinny Tiger, Fatty Dragon Snake in the Eagle's Shadow The Swordsman Tai Chi Boxer Twinkle Twinkle Lucky Stars Warriors Two Wheels on Meals Wing Chun The Young Master Zu Warriors from the Magic Mountain
  8. They look like bootleg releases to me. Alot of the cheap stuff on ebay is. The Police Story movies and Project A are atleast must haves in my opinion. The best releases would be from Hong Kong Legends, but those might be hard to come by these days.
  9. Exactly same problem here actually. I figure a break will do me good, but I won't buy any more new movies for the time being. Except Ip Man perhaps.

What do you think of these movies?

I'd rate Disciples quite low compared to Chang Che's other Shaolin movies, but the choreo is pretty much on the same level as the movies you listed. Not much greater or worse. Liked this one alot. Best one in that particular storyline in my opinion, and I'd say it's a must see among Ti Lung's movies.

    Unauthorized Shaw images banned

    Pfft.. make me lose it.

    Unauthorized Shaw images banned

If anything, seeing screen caps and lobby cards here on this forum had made me buy more of their movies. Although I respect copyrights, this seems a bit like a counter-adaptive strategy from Celestial. Can't picture them making more money on selling images than they do on selling movies.

Official KF Fandom Hip Hop Thread!

Paul Wall? shiiiiiiiiiiit I hear what you're saying. You still gotta look out for new releases from the real stars who's been holding it down for years now. Compared to other genres, some rappers can still have decent comebacks. You won't get nothing out of MTV and that sort of crap. Here's a couple more recommendations: BLU & EXILE - BELOW THE HEAVENS: Blu is definately one of the most underrated emcees out there. REKS - GREY HAIRS: Statik Selektah's beats are a bit too much for me, but Reks has some really intense rhyming, particulary on Say Goodnight featuing Premo. 9TH WONDER & BUCKSHOT - THE FORMULA: Despite what everyone thinks, I liked this one alot better than CHEMISTRY. Buckshot's rhyming might not be on the same level on this album, but the beats are a LOT better here. LITTLE BROTHER - GET BACK: No doubt, Phonte and Big Pooh can still hold it down after splitting with 9th Wonder. Love this album.

    Scariest picture of the day!!

Yeah I'd totally mow her lawn too... oh, wait. I'm with TWC, she's definately not my type and not just because she's a no-brainer. Glam'ed up blondes aren't really my thing.
