Cobra Kai - Sequel Series to original Karate Kid

OMG! Season 2 is insane! Especially with how it ends...if there is a season 3, I can see something major happening! (Spoiler Alert)

  3. Music video for the theme song "Bromance" by the cast
  4. A new indie martial arts film, The Way of the Empty Hand, has recently completed production. The film was directed by former star of Operation Repo, Lou Pizarro and features the likes of Robin Shou, Andy Cheng, and Simon Rhee. There are heaps of on-set photos at Juan Guerra's Smugmug page. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3729548/fullcredits?ref_=tt_cl_sm#cast

Cobra Kai - Sequel Series to original Karate Kid

Episode 6 is a very memorable one (spoiler alert)
  6. Bruce Davison is returning to his role of Reverend Michael in a sequel to Along Came the Devil, a 21st-Century version of The Exorcist that I really enjoyed watching last year. Also returning are the duo of Jason and Heather DeVan, who wrote the script with Jason DeVan directing. Production has begun today and a Fall 2019 release is scheduled. http://worldfilmgeek.com/2019/04/24/the-devans-set-to-bring-back-the-devil/ Here's the trailer for the original film
  7. From Variety HanWay Films has boarded sales on Takashi Miike’s “First Love,” which has been selected for Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes. HanWay has worldwide rights excluding Asia. “First Love” was announced in the Directors’ Fortnight lineup, but with little plot information available. The producers said Wednesday that the film is set during one night in Tokyo and follows Leo, a down-on-his-luck young boxer who meets his first love, Monica, a call girl and an addict but still an innocent. Monica unwittingly gets caught up in a drug-smuggling scheme, and the two are pursued through the night by a corrupt cop, a yakuza, Leo’s nemesis and a female assassin sent by the Chinese Triads. Jeremy Thomas’ Recorded Picture Company is re-teaming with Miike on the picture, which will have its world premiere in Cannes. The film marks the fourth collaboration between the prolific Japanese director and Thomas after they worked closely together on “Blade of the Immortal,” “Hara-Kiri: Death of a Samurai” and “13 Assassins.”
  8. Wu Jing gets a breath of air from Tsui Hark at the production wrap party on the base camp of Mount Everest. Tsui produced the film, which officially wrapped. The film will be released on September 30th. http://hktopten.blogspot.com/2019/04/20190424-tsui-hark-and-wu-jing-promote.html

Cobra Kai - Sequel Series to original Karate Kid

Former Disney star Peyton List joins the cast in episode 4 as Tory, a new Cobra Kai recruit who seems to be bad news but also has a thing for Miguel (Xolo Mariduena). Of course, this brings complications for the "love triangle" between Miguel, Sam (Mary Mouser), and Robbie (Tanner Buchanan).
  10. The story is quite interesting I thought with a shocking twist, but the fights are the stars of the film. Excellent work from Fabien Garcia, the Buson brothers, and company. Laurent works these days as a producer and visual effects artist on web series, including Dragon Ball Z: Light of Hope (he also was fight choreographer) and Captain Fitastic (a superhero show with Tim Storms in the titular role)
  11. Check this fight out: Nick Cheung vs Philip Ng in The Trough (which Cheung also directed)
  12. Either way, it is 1000x better than their fight in Black Mask 2. Andy definitely has improved a hell of a lot since 2001 in the action department. He has been training for years with Philip Ng, who is also one of his best friends. Nicholas Tse is also one of Ng's proteges in Wing Chun.
  13. Picked these up at Wal-Mart yesterday
  14. Kwon Young-Moon, Chiang To, Jang Il-Do, and company vs. Gordon Liu in Return to the 36th Chamber
