    Warning About Smart TV's

Not only that but hackers can harass you via your smart TV but also harass you by accessing your devices via Facetime, Facebook, Messenger, WeChat, Skype, when you use free Wifi , playing online games on PS4, XBox One, Wii, using Google Home, Amazon Echo Dot, etc, etc, etc. Anyway, my TV gets channels like MSNBC and the likes so I don't think it is a smart TV, it's just a fake label they placed on the TV. Now back to my X-mas shopping, I hope to be done by the end of the week.
  2. I think it is Revenge of the Shaolin Master. The end fight did take place on a beach. Chen Sing is in it but he didn't play the Villain (he did fight Lung Fei on the beach). I think it was Tsai Hung who fought Tan at the end causing his death.
  3. That scene is from Masters Of Tiger Crane.

    Svaha: The Sixth Finger (2019)

I gave that one a watch over the weekend. A lot of people/sites list it as a horror but it is more of a mystery than a horror.
  5. Whether it is released, not released, unedited or not - the unedited version will still make it way to China via pirating. So it's not a matter of if people will get to see it, but how much money will it make on the mainland - people will still get to see the unedited version (via pirating or other means).
  6. Not sure if it is true or not but......... There is a report that this movie will not be release in China unless some edits are made. It had previously gotten the green light & was set to be released next week Friday (Oct 25th). The article claims that Shannon Lee filed a complain with China's National Film Administration about the negative portrayal of her father. https://variety.com/2019/film/news/quentin-tarantino-once-upon-a-time-in-hollywood-china-release-halted-1203375052/#article-comments
  7. Do a search, the click more search options, then narrow it down, example: "content title only" or "all of my search terms", then click search content again.
  8. Mine have been dispatched - I should get it by mid week.
  9. Twister Kicker is a Taiwanese basher which is also known as Tornado. I use to have it on VHS.
  10. Completely agree that a lot of these movies did not get a national/wider release during that time period. However, when they played they were not just playing in "rundown" theaters like you see in some of articles/pictures posted in this thread but also in "regular" theaters. Most of what you see in those pics are I would say more of a "resurgence" to capitalize on the popularity/success of a movie/event. There is also a great article posted by @DragonClaws, which covers the drive-in scene as well as World Northal (which distributed a lot of the Shaw's movies in theaters). That article was written by Chris Poggiali who use to be a member here - not sure if he is still here or goes by a different name. Here is another article on World Northal, also by Chris. http://templeofschlock.blogspot.com/2012/08/updating-imdb-world-northal-edition.html Also those of us (who had a Chinatown in our City) also had Chinatown theaters that would also show these movies.
  11. It's currently on Netflix for those interested. I should have listen to myself. Anyway, I watched it and that that.
  12. John Wick 3 Steelbooks. The one to the left is the Amazon's exclusive 4K UHD steelbook which includes a gold coin & metal hotel lobby card. The one on the right is the Target's steelbook X-Men Dark Phoenix: Target & Best Buy's Although it is viewed as a "weaker" entry in the X-Men franchise, I did enjoy it. Eureka's re-issue of Police Story 1 & 2.
  13. Nice write up @Tex Killer, I feels that this movie suffers from having too much going on - they cram too much plots & twist into a 90 minutes movie that a lot of events/characters were not properly explained or why this event is taking place.
  14. I got the delay release email 2 days ago from Amazon "Hello,Unfortunately, the release date for the item(s) listed below was changed by the supplier, and we need to provide you with a new estimated delivery date based on the new release date: "Three Films With Sammo Hung (Eureka Classics) Blu-ray" Estimated arrival date: October 14 2019 - October 16 2019"
  15. John Wick 3 Steelbook just arrived in the mail and it is/will be a triple dip for me - Best Buy, Target & Amazon steelbooks. Both Best Buy and Target are doing a limited edition "numbered" steelbook where they number the steebook inside - not sure what other retailers are also doing a numbered limited edition release. The Best Buy steelbook is limited to 35,000 while the Target steelbook release is limited to 15,000. I fell the Best Buy one will sell out before the Target one. This Best Buy bundle includes a mini steelbook with contains a digital code - so you get 2 UHD digital codes. The mini steelbook also give you the option to buy Part 1 & 2 in UHD for $3.99 each.
