I would like to thank everyone who was able to make a donation for the purpose of obtaining new features for the forum. The donation goal was met rather quickly and we here at Kung Fu Fandom can not thank you enough for the support. The plan is once the new site is up and running, the focus will then turn to the forum on updating and adding these new features and we will continue to strive to make your time spent here on the forum as enjoyable as possible. _/|\_

    Hong Kong Nocturne

Anyone want to buy a sealed copy of the IVL Hong Kong Nocturne?
  2. Turns out my mate had already seen Shaolin vs Lama. We ended up making a complete change of direction and watching a modern Thai film; Bangkok Knockout. It was crap.
  3. Shaolin vs Lama is great, but I watched it so long ago that I can't remember what the dub is like. I also love Opium and the Kung Fu Master, but I havent watched the dubbed version yet. I might put that on tonight.
  4. Hey. I've got a mate coming over soon. He likes a bit of kung fu and he also likes some good dubbing (good meaning it contains quotable lines, memorable voices, etc). Which of the following flicks do you think has the best dub job? Shaolin vs Lama The Sword One Armed Swordsmen Opium and the Kung Fu Master 8 masters The Tournament War of the Shaolin Temple Shaolin Temple Strikes Back Dragon Fist Invincible Obsessed Fighter

Shaw bros - celestial ivl r3

Yeah, I sent an email to you yesterday too.
  6. Hey guys, I just wanted to let anyone interested know that I am still working on this. Unfortunately, I recently split from my long term girlfriend and, to be totally honest, it's been a really tough time for me. That might be a little too much sharing, but I just wanted people who are keen to get their hands on this DVD know why it's taking so long.
  7. DVD artwork creator extraordinaire, James, told me that he thought he could do a much better job on the artwork than he did first time. He's beavering away on that at the moment. Due to the change in the artwork, the menu designs also need to be changed to match. I realise this whole thing is taking rather a long time, but hopefully it'll be worth the wait.
  8. Damn. I'm only in the UK until the 5th of Feb; I would've loved to have come to this. Any chance you could shift the screening to the 4th?

Tony Jaa no longer a monk

Ong Bak 2 is one of the best MA films of the last ten years or so. It's old school done modern.
  11. I have been working on a release of 'Return of the Deadly Blade' again recently. I meant to get it released a long while ago, but life kind of took over. Anyway, all the elements are finished it's just a case of putting it all together - timing subtitles, etc. The disc will feature Mandarin, Cantonese and English audio and new English subtitles. It should be finished before the end of this month. I'll keep you guys updated.

How about 668 HD SB movies in a box?

Return of the Deadly Blade is about 80% done. I just need to sort out a few things before it'll be ready to go on sale. Hopefully, it'll be some time in January.

Hot damn! This looks like a must buy for me. I'm gonna do a bit more research into it first.
