Shaolin Temple Mobile App

Have you ever wanted to travel to China to learn kung fu from a monk at the Shaolin Temple? Unless you can afford to live abroad for years, learning the art and history of Shaolin Kung fu would be extremely difficult, if not impossible. For most ordinary working folks like myself, that sort of luxury is simply not an option. But thanks to technology, the next best thing to your dream can become a reality. The Shaolin Temple has recently turned its attention to the digital world by creating their first mobile app. The app itself will give the user the opportunity to learn traditional Shaolin Kung Fu, and will track the user’s movements using motion-sensing. Shades of THE MATRIX! While current information is limited on exactly how the app works, and what will be included beside the teaching aspects, the project is filled with exciting possibilities. The Shaolin Temple has made it clear that they are committed to sharing Shaolin culture in the 21st century, and their pending mobile app will give them the opportunity to do just that.
