Released on August 3, 2010 came the official Region 1 – NTSC release of one of the later films produced by Shaw Brothers studio, Shaolin Prince. The film was originally released in 1982. If you haven’t seen this one yet, I can say it is a lot of fun. If you have never seen Shaw veteran, Ti Lung in a Shaolin abbot robe, and would like to, then this is a film for you. There is quite a bit of wire use, but nothing too crazy. This release also contains the original English mono dub track, and I must applaud Funimation for this, this is how I love to watch my SB movies. To celebrate this release I have a video clip of the first 3+ minutes of the film, with the English dub audio. I also have a few extra “goodies” to go along with the clip. Enjoy.
