Interview With Shaw Brothers Veteran, David Chiang

David Chiang starred in numerous Shaw Brothers studios films, too many to name really, dare I even pick a favorite. David of course has appeared in many classic films not produced by SB studios. A few of my personal favorites would be Strife For Mastery (1977), The Challenger (1979), The Loot (1980) and Return of the Deadly Blade (1981) just to name a few. I’m sure everyone who visits The Chamber has a favorite David Chiang film or two they can easily name.

Recently David did a interview with Bangkok Post newspaper, and in it, he answered some questions I am quite sure many of his fans would be interested in checking out.

Excerpt From Interview:

You’ve made countless films since the 1960s. Which ones are your favourites, and why?

My favourite films are The New One-Armed Swordsman and Vengeance. Before we would only fight, always fighting. But with these two films we have a story and strong characters.
