Angela Mao (Ying) has been deemed as the “First Lady of Kung Fu” and is known to fans as ‘Lady Whirlwind’ as well as ‘Lady Kung Fu’. She has been involved in countless amount of quality films, just to name a few; Back Alley Princess, Enter The Dragon, When Taekwondo Strikes, The Opium Trail, Stoner, Dance of Death, The Himalayan, and so many more. As this design pays tribute to Angela and one of her greatest films, Hap Ki Do (Lady Kung Fu) (1972).
6 oz. 100% Cotton Tubular Jersey. Double-needle bottom hem and sleeves. Shoulder-to-shoulder tape. Preshrunk to minimize shrinkage. All ’36 Styles’ shirts come branded with a tagless neck label, which contains shirt size, wash instructions, and logo.
This design was created using the “halftone” method. This procedure allows for more detail by simply replicating a gradient look to the image. The design itself is made up of black, and features 3 different poses of Angela Mao in action. The large characters on the design are of Angela’s name in Chinese, while the smaller characters represent titles of some of her films. This design includes a 36 Styles shield logo at the bottom center.
